What we can help with

Call today Emergency Water Extraction Standing water, and the clock already running. Volume matters more than anything else in the first hours — how much comes out, how fast. What to look for → Call today Structural Drying The half of the job nobody sees. Equipment placed to a plan and monitored against daily readings — not left running and billed by the day. What to look for → Call today Burst Pipe Water Damage A supply line under pressure does not stop on its own, so these are usually the worst losses by volume — often discovered hours in. What to look for → Call today Appliance Leak Damage A water heater, washing machine, dishwasher or fridge line that has let go. Usually slow, usually behind or under something, usually found late. What to look for → Call today Ceiling Water Damage A stain spreading overhead, or a bulge holding water. A sagging ceiling is a weight hazard before it is a cosmetic one. What to look for → Call today Basement Flood Cleanup Groundwater, a failed sump, or a storm that got in. What is stored down there is usually the loss, and the category of the water decides what can be kept. What to look for → Call today Storm and Flood Damage Water that arrived from outside — an atmospheric river, a burn-scar debris flow, a roof that failed in a storm. Ground water is never clean water, and that changes the job. What to look for → Call today Sewage Backup Cleanup A main line backup, a failed lift pump, or a toilet that overflowed into the room below. This is Category 3 water and it is a health question before it is a cleaning one. What to look for →

Why the first day decides the bill

The leak is almost never the expensive part. A burst supply line costs very little to repair; the drywall, cabinets, flooring and subfloor it soaked are the claim, and how much of that survives depends almost entirely on how quickly it was dried.

Materials dried inside the first day or two are usually saved. The same materials wet for three days generally come out, and mold needs roughly forty-eight hours to start. None of that is a sales tactic — it is how gypsum, timber and insulation behave when they are wet, and it is why this trade answers the phone at night.

The second thing that decides it is measurement. Water travels further than it looks, usually a foot or two past the visible edge, and it hides in wall cavities and under cabinets. A company that maps it with a meter is finding the real boundary; one that works by eye is guessing, and you pay for the guess twice.

So the useful first call is somebody who extracts, measures, and tells you honestly what dries in place and what does not — including the parts where the answer is that less needs removing than you feared.

California specifically

Wildfire smoke is the single biggest thing that makes Californians think about what their ducts are carrying. Fine particulate gets pulled into a return during a smoke event and keeps circulating long after the air outside has cleared.

California is also the one state where duct leakage is routinely tested: Title 24 requires a HERS-verified duct test on most furnace or air-conditioner changeouts, so a duct problem here often surfaces as a failed test rather than as a complaint.

How it works

Three steps, and you decide at the end of them.

  1. 1

You call and describe the problem

Tell us what you have noticed and where — the room, the smell, the noise, how long it has been going on. Give us your ZIP code and we will match you to a licensed company covering your area. There is no form to fill in.

  2. 2

A local company takes it from there

They discuss the problem with you directly, arrange a time to inspect, and agree the work and the price with you before anything starts. That conversation is between you and them.

  3. 3

You decide whether to go ahead

You are under no obligation. If the quote or the approach is not what you wanted, you are free to say no and call someone else.

Common questions

Which areas of California do you cover?

All of it. The quickest way to find out about your own town is to call and give us your ZIP code — if the nearest company is an hour out we will say so rather than waste your afternoon.

How soon can someone come out?

Same day for anything active — water losses are the one part of restoration that genuinely cannot wait, and the companies here run out-of-hours crews for them. Drying then runs for several days with daily monitoring.

Are the companies licensed and insured?

Yes. We only pass calls to licensed, insured operators working in California, and you are welcome to ask to see a license number on arrival.

What does it cost?

Nothing. We are a referral service: restoration companies pay us for the introduction, you do not, and you are under no obligation to go ahead with whatever they quote. We are not the company that attends, so the price, the schedule and the guarantee are agreed between you and them.
